I havent posted alot of my traditional work, mostly because im too lazy to take photographs of them :P *smashes her camera* O_o err...sorry...cameraphobic
anywho, im going too as soon as schools over. cz i figure i wont have an excuse anymore. lol

this is the still life i did for my first art prac exam. it was supposed to be your favorite things. i just stole my brothers jeans and stuffed in a pretty coffee mug and painttubes and such O_o XD nyaaa. bite that school.

this was my first ever attempt in chalk pastels. theyre hard to use o_o because theyre so thick and ...erm...chalky. but it was fun and was WAY faster than acrylics. u dont have to mix colours!!! :D *rejoices* *hates mixing* -_-

took me about 4-5 days. ill update with my marks when i get them. unless theyre horribly bad, then ill just "forget" to update :aww:

So how was your marks? ;P You can't pretend to forget now! Anyway, I've used soft pastels once, just a trial thing, and I think I don't have enough colours or something. :hmm: Or maybe I'm too stingy, don't wanna press too hard or the paper'll EAT UP all of those teeny sticks.

Still lifes (...lives? ^^; ) are very cool and I like this a lot. :D The jeans especially. I'm a sucker for well-drawn folds and creases. :XD:

hahah :XD: weeell, i do remember. i got 95% for it. w00t! :D theyre really nice to use. but u do have to have quite a few colours. you have to build up layers of different shades. its quite weird. but yes! i got a half an hour lesson with this lady, and she used so much of the pastel! O_O i was like, hey! i can use that....so i guess u have to use just enough, but not too much.

(i dont even know what to call it! =P) but they are pretty cool. thank you so much! and creases are hard but so interesting! :XD:
